Our current prices for Adoptions are as follows:-
Hand reared or approx. age under 3 months old - $25.00
Over 3 months old and well socialised - $ 15.00
Over 3 months old and requiring possible future medical care - $10.00
These prices are indicative of the past and future costs associated with keeping a Rattie.
Where we have hand raised and cared for ratties under 3 months old the time and effort required (as well as the cost of forumla and high dietary needs for healthy growth) is partially paid for in a small way by the costs associated with adoption.
In comparison to a rattie that will need ongoing medical care well into the future, the costs associated with keeping such a rat is indicative of the price.
