When we heard that PRRR had a baby argente rescue, we couldn't resist. It was only about a month before that we lost Fleetwood our 19 month old Argente. Fleetwood was sick all his life and really didn't get to have all the fun a rat should have. Giving this little argente a loving home and lots of brothers to play with would somehow make up for what Fleetwood missed out on. It probably helped that when I went to look at him he was just adorable and immediately snuggled into my collar.
Once we got him home he declared his name 'Bullitt' after a Steve McQueen character in a movie of the same name. Bullitt is a speedy little guy and is tough enough to stand up to the big guys. He is also blonde lol. He loves to explore, loves snuggling in sleeves and collars. He is fitting in beautifully with the rest of our family.
We are so glad that Bullitt has come to live with us and has this chance to live a long, happy and healthy life.
