Cutie

Cutie

Ahhh what can I say about Cutie?
Where to start?
At the beginning I guess.
Cutie was adopted from a very loving, caring, family owned pet shop. Cutie was adopted at the same time as Lady (her biological sister) & Suz. The reason for buying 3 Ratties is because we had 3 children that really wanted some pet Ratties and being that I have had pet Ratties previously I felt that it would be wonderful to have some again. I have been told that I must add that Cutie owns our only human daughter. We went to the pet shop expecting to bring home 3 siblings however there were only 2 girls & their mum (Hannah, more about her later) left in Cuties litter so we decided to go for the only other young girl in the shop (Suz) who was approx 3 weeks older. Cutie was shy at first, a new environment will do this, however, she never showed any signs of aggression at all. Cutie was the “top diver”, if you had a top on that she felt she could duck into she would. As time progressed, with me sitting in the evening at the cage door encouraging Cutie, and her sisters, to trust me she eventually learnt that she would find food in my fingers and that I was not so bad after all. Fast forward to now 6 months later. Cutie is our Alpha girl in the girls cage she tells everyone who and what they can speak to. Cutie is very gentle and still slightly nervous in open areas and loves nothing more than to climb up on shoulders and brux right in your ear. Cutie will sit at the cage door now, waiting, anticipating my arrival with treats. She is also very good at begging any one of our 4 children for that last chip or little bit of chocolate stuck to their fingers.
