Mandurah Vets?

Postby myyky » Tue Mar 23, 2010 8:03 pm

Does anyone know of any vets in or close to Mandurah that treat rats? I'm thinking of ringing Coastal tomorrow, because everyone trusts them for other animals, and they're quite good.. I'm not taking them to Pinjarra..

So yuss, Does anyone live in, or go to a vets in Mandurah?

Oh scheisse. I'm having a really dumb day today. I posted this in RESCUE instead of VETS *sigh*

Maybe I should just go to sleep. Malabu hey? I shall see how far they are away.

Soo, I just took Bunny into the vets because she had persistant sneezing since Saturday. I had a look in the yellow pages, and saw Halls Head Small Animal Clinic, which because it was Small Animal, I decided to ring. The ladies at the desk were very helpful and friendly, and they told me they did do rats their, indeed!

Luckily they were able to fit me in at twelve today, and so I had a shower, got Bunny into a box, (with holes of course) and we set off for Halls Head. Its a bit of a longer drive from my house than Coastal Vets, but it was worth it. The Vet we had was nice, and it was cute as watching him hold his stethoscope to Bunnys chest, it was so much bigger than her.

Their consult price is $60 for a dog or cat! Which is relatively expensive in my short life of owning animals. Pretty sure Coastal only charges about $35. But, thankfully, rodents and cavys are only $20 consultation fee.

Also, when he prescribed some Baytril, I'm not exactly sure how long for, there is a reasonable amout of it, it only cost $13.

I think I'll be going back there.. Just thought I'd write this down for any future Mandurah people, who are looking for a vet.

XD
The only thing I'm umming and ahhing about is that her name is Bonnie on their register. Bahahahaha. Her little bottle of Baytril says "Bonnie" not Bunny. :)
